itching to do some drawing.

And in other news, apparently "art design fundamentals" is the academic name for "origami with knives" class.

Things I feel an irrational need for:
  • Korean diaries/planners
  • portable turntable and records
  • a library
  • tin lunchboxes
  • irrationally bright make up
  • a big satin or velvet bow
  • party dresses
  • a baby grand piano

I'm very jealous of the new edition of certain classics (I've seen Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice in person) with the covers featuring illustrations by a famous artist. It's not so much the artist that impresses me as the art itself. I love books for their content, but I would love to have some books that I loved for their covers too. Hm, I may snazz up some of my old books with new covers.

Oh my goodness, am I actually going to defile a book?!

having a stream of conscious in french.

Oui, c'est vrai! Argh. (>__<) Anyway, latest list of shopping loot:
  • Urban Decay makeup set from Sephora
  • Dior palette (as a gift for B)
  • 2 pairs of skinny jeans
  • Super cute black dress
  • H&M blazer

And yet there are still many things I still want. Ah, but to refrain from indulging in the consumption; of both mind and wallet! I must be very tired if I'm reverting to Romantic English speech patterns. Urk. (x_x);

Intending to spend my week off cleaning up the messy remains of Hurricane Final-Exam-Week and reading, a lot. Still need 13 books for 50bookchallenge this year! Bonne chance!

contemplating bankruptcy.

Impulsive buying of pretty things = not good for bank account. But they were really, really pretty. Piggybank lost a little weight and inner!me was content and happy with New Pretties and Shinies: vintage style Mickey Mouse tin, scrapbook stickers, a new set of acrylic stamps, yummies that got eaten, cute paper products from Korea (because those Koreans are freaking awesome with household things in a way those Swedes can never beat)..

Apparently "The Lion King" show is blacked out for most of December. So, January, maybe?

going to bed.

Infinite love is an implausibility
unbendably thick, forest-dense,
like sighting white-rabbits in white-misted-Wonderland;
if time were so unlimited
in blinded clock-white-faces
and aged life flexible in nymphish contortions,
then 't'ould be an equation variables self-provided
and gladly proofed against your doubts.

It swirls and whirls, a-swirling, sipping, sound
in a murky, lurky, kind-of way as it goes down, down, down,
with a balderdash of blue, bubbly, boozing, oozing,
squelching from the rim; smoothly, soothingly, sacrilegiously
porous-free, portund, porcelain and perfect,
sliding phalanges, scraping fixations of crass, blunt, brass.
Olfactory oranges and lung-filling lemons:
scents of saintly satisfaction and services subside
at the gleaming, sheening, cleaning bowl of ass.

Honey, I can't wait for you forever;
Release me from your sticky holdings,
let me bee done with your sweet tongue
and seek my own nectarious endings.
